India on my Mind

I have a binding project that has been at the forefront of my mind. By the end of this month, I hope to have most of it done. I have registered to participate in the One Book One Chicago 10th anniversary exhibit supported by the Chicago Public Library. I have been following the One Book One Bloomington program since this is where I live, but growing up in and around the Chicago-land area for the greater part of my life made me eager to participate once the exhibit was announced. Handmade Market Recap

The Handmade Market was a very busy event! From the time the doors “opened” to the time they “closed” and a little bit after, there were throngs of people walking through. It was a full day of meeting new people and talking about all the items on the table. There were several long spans of time that I barely had a chance to sit down! February: Zine

          February's intellectual collaboration was a zine. It was great fun and a new experience to fill out content for a small format. Like January's collaboration, Dust of Snow, we set a few parameters and this month's were as follows: Zine Black and White Teach or Preach (2) 8.5 x 11 Sheets of Paper The nature of zines tends to be a quick and cheap way to get information out to people.
